Park St House

Overall winner of the Perth Housing Awards 2014, Renovation/ Addition Project of the Year. Mulberry Homes was asked to provide an elegant and timeless living space to a 1980’s second hand brick home. The home is positioned on a very narrow block and has a wonderful location opposite a park. The new addition included a new kitchen and meals area and a courtyard alfresco area that seamlessly joined with the kitchen/dining area.

We were asked to renovate the existing living space and rebuild the staircase to the loft. Today, the home’s entrance is half way down the side of the house, accessed through two courtyards. This creates a tranquil and serene transition from the street to the inner sanctum of the home. Extensive use of white wood panelling and classical features gives the home a bright and sunny aspect.
